Buddy Ball is a special needs basketball league open to physically- and/or mentally- challenged boys and girls between 5 and 21 years of age in the Houston metropolitan area. The Buddy Ball season runs from the first Saturday in January through the middle of February. There is no cost to participate in Buddy Bal, but any financial support provided to defray cost is greatly appreciated. Games are played on Saturday mornings at Fort Bend County areas schools and gyms. Athletes are not required to have any experience as we cater to athletes of all skill levels. Each athlete will be paired with a “buddy” who is a high school age volunteer. Buddies spend time and work with the athlete on an individual basis. Buddies are not required to have skill or expertise in basketball but rather a genuine interest in getting to know some really great kids!
